History

The design elements of Masjid e Bilal resemble the Qutub Shahi Architecture thatdates back to over 400 years. A small three dome structure complementing the load and adding aesthetics in design. Squinches on each arch, makes it a self standing dome, with a key stone locking the arch crest independently.


Restoration


• Roof Treatment was done, and removed decayed waterproof layer and re-done water tightening work

• General Restoration Work - Getting Basic Services right by replacing the Drain & Plumbing lines for better water management and waste management

• Lime Paint Treatment- Scrubbed away loose & old lime & paint particles, sanded the surface, replastered wherever necessary and Fresh Lime Painted

• Deteriorated Lime Wall- Removed of decayed lime and cement plaster, exposing dampnessFlower Molds and Designs were made.

• Paint Stripped Doors and Hand Polished to keep the ethnic look.

• Lime Wall Plaster- Pressure Grout in Cavities, Ek Baara

• Lime coatingLime Plaster Craft – Do Baara &Ceh Baara - Corniches, Stucco, Ornamental Design, Flowers, Bands, Corner Etcetera.

• Ceiling& Squinches Repair - Removed 150mm Cement Plaster, repaired squinches and corners, Lime Plaster bringing the originality back.

• Lumen Testing -Testing Light Effects that suits lime walls, to bring about right shades &shadows. Lime Plaster- Four Coat Lime Plaster finish

• Roadside Lime Wall Repair- Removed Cement Plaster, Grouted & laid Lime Mortar on 80 years old main wall, finished in plum with Ceh Baara.

• Sand Blasting - Sand Blasting Border Stone of Roadside Wall and Planter.

• Finished wall in Lime, Sand Blasted stone border work and lime pointed
