The Moula Ali hill is approximately 614 meters (2,014 ft) tall. It has 484 steps from dargah to bottom of the hill and has about 600 tombs around it.

The Moula Ali Kamaan the Kaman was built as a pathway to the Moula Ali Dargah. The Kaman has an old-world charm and has been the gateway to the Moula Ali hill and is lit up every year for Milad festivities.

During the Nizam’s rule, the Nawab used to lead processions on an elephant, from the arch to the shrine, sources said. The Kaman was declared a Stateprotected monument in 2010 and is being restored using the traditional lime-and-mortar.
