Glassfibre reinforced cement (GRC) is a composite material consisting of a mortar of hydraulic cement and fine aggregate reinforced with alkali resistant glassfibre. The GRC may contain additional filter Materials, pozzolanic materials and admixtures. The fiber contents are typically 3% to 5% by weight Depending on product application and production method employed. The properties of GRC depend on A wide range of variables, include method of manufacturing, mix formulation, fiber product type,

Length and orientation, admixtures used etc. A GRC material may therefore be tailored to meet the Requirements of a specific application. GRC materials have an aggregate‐cement ratio of up To 1:1, incorporating glass fiber and made by spray and premix processes. These materials have been Widely used for many years and their properties and characteristics have been studied extensively. GRC is a family of composite materials that combine the high compressive strength properties of Cement mortars with significantly increased impact, flexural and tensile strengths imparted by the fiber Reinforcement.

GRC products are safe, have good chemical resistance and will not rot or corrode. GRC is made of Organic materials and will not burn, has negligible smoke emission and offers good fire resistance. Grc Is normally of relatively thin cross sections, giving a low component weight which allows savings in Handling, storage, transportation, and installation compared with traditional concrete products.

GFRG Works: GFRG – Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum, is lightweight, strong and fire resistant, one of the main ingredients in GFRG is a mineral that will not burn, resisting fire for about 2 hours hence capable of protecting areas covers with GFRG, it Definitely is a cost-effective choice, it is a much more affordable & freely moldable material than marble, limestone, granite.
